Invite Mike to Preach

Mike Pileggi preaches and teaches at churches, retreats, conferences, and ministry events.

He preaches from the text, works to explain it clearly, and tries to serve whoever is in the room.

Preaching that stays close to the text

Mike’s preaching is expository. That means the text itself shapes the message. He wants to explain what a passage actually says — what the author meant, in context — and then press its truth into the lives of the people hearing it.

Sermon series and standalone messages

Mike is available to preach a standalone message or to serve a church through a short sermon series. He is happy to work within a topic or text the church is already preaching through, or to bring a series of his own.

Primary preaching topics and areas

  • Reading and Interpreting the Bible — Teaching Christians how to read Scripture in context, interpret it faithfully, and apply it well
  • Theology and Christian Doctrine — The great doctrines of the faith made clear and personally weighty
  • Discipleship and Spiritual Formation — What it actually looks like to follow Christ in daily life, not just on Sunday
  • The Christian Life in a Confused World — How biblical faith holds up in suffering, uncertainty, and cultural pressure
  • Preaching and Ministry Leadership — For pastor conferences, ministry training events, and church leadership gatherings
  • Student Ministry and the Next Generation — Preaching and teaching for teenagers and college students; resources for families and youth workers

Events and contexts

Mike regularly preaches and teaches for:

  • Sunday morning worship services — standalone messages or multi-week series
  • Church retreats and weekend events — men’s retreats, family retreats, ministry team retreats
  • Conferences and training events — pastor conferences, youth ministry events, leadership gatherings
  • Youth and student ministry events — youth group weekends, camps, student conferences
  • Seminary and Bible college events — chapel services, ministry training intensives

What to expect when you book Mike

He prepares carefully. Before the event, Mike will want to understand your church or ministry context — who you are, what you are working through, and what you need the teaching to do. He does not recycle the same message for every room.

He is glad to work within a direction. If you already have a text, theme, or series in progress, he is happy to preach within that. If you would rather he bring something complete, he can do that too. Either way, you will know what to expect before the day arrives.

He communicates clearly. Logistics, travel, expectations — Mike will be straightforward about all of it and will stay in contact as the event approaches. He wants the experience to be easy for you to plan and good for the people who show up.

His preaching comes from within the evangelical tradition. He is committed to sound doctrine and careful exposition. He is not trying to build a platform. He is trying to serve the church in front of him.
